The 150W Solar Flood Light is one of our most popular lighting solutions for horse arenas and large outdoor areas where reliable lighting is needed without access to mains power.
This system delivers strong, even illumination comparable to a typical 150W mains-powered floodlight, while operating completely off-grid using solar power.
It is supplied as a complete kit, making installation straightforward and eliminating the need for trenching, cabling, or an electrician.
Manual on/off control as standard. Unlike many off-the-shelf solar lights that operate automatically, Uneek LED solar flood lights are designed to give you full control over when your lights are on.
Each light is supplied with an outdoor waterproof switch as standard, allowing you to turn the light on and off when required. An optional wireless remote control is also available, enabling convenient control of multiple lights from a distance.
For customers who require automated operation, timer-based control can be configured as a custom option. If this is something you require, please contact us to discuss your setup.
Designed for Australian conditions, the light features a sealed, weatherproof construction and a robust aluminium housing, allowing it to perform reliably in dust, rain, wind, and outdoor environments.
When installed correctly, the system provides approximately 5–6 hours of full-output runtime on a full charge, with extended lower-output operation depending on conditions.
Each kit includes the flood light, battery module, solar panel, mounting hardware, and an outdoor waterproof switch. Optional accessories such as remote controls and solar panel brackets can be added at the top of this page.
Solar panel mounting: Solar panels are supplied without a mounting bracket as standard. Brackets can be purchased as an optional extra, or fabricated locally if preferred. If you would like bracket measurements and drawings, leave a note during checkout and we can supply them.

Due to the size and weight of the solar flood light kits, care must be taken during shipping. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout where possible.
For larger orders or special delivery requirements, please contact us for an accurate freight quote. If unattended delivery is required, please leave a note during checkout.
Poles & Mounting Height:
For most installations, we recommend mounting the lights at a height of 6–8 metres, depending on the size of the area and the light spread required.
Our standard installations typically use galvanised square steel poles, commonly around 100 × 100 × 8 mm. These provide excellent strength and stability for outdoor and rural environments.
If you already have existing poles, our solar flood light kits are designed to be flexible and can usually be mounted to customer-supplied poles without issue.
Round poles:
We can also mount our lights to round poles using an alternative mounting bracket. If you have round poles or are unsure what you have on site, please contact us and we’ll advise on the best mounting option.
Engineered poles:
If required, we can also supply poles with engineering certification for projects that require documented structural compliance. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
